Love of The Shaykh Stronger Than Father to Children

A'udhu billah mina 'sh-shaytani 'r-rajeem Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.

As yesterday I was going to open suhbat from the book Nur al-Muhammadiyya, and as yesterday something happened which took us to a different way. And when you speak on light of the Prophet (saw), there are many converts and they might not understand and they know who is watching, we don't know. They change direction of suhbat. and many times Grandshaykh Abdullah qs wants to speak about something or he is speaking and then he changes direction of the suhbat completely.

The one whom he is taking from his heart,. he said, I am like radio, I take what they put in my heart, and speak. No tv that time. And similarly Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani qs is like that. And Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani qs, may Allah grant him long life, and by the way, if we have our own group, and don’t love Mawlana Shaykh Nazim qs, then why would we say may Allah grant him long life.

Allah (swt) knows best, the mureed has love to the Shaykh different from love of the son to the Shaykh. From spiritual point of view and the belief point of view might be stronger than belief of the son, because the family of Shaykh love the Shaykh as he is the father. The mureeds love out of love to the Prophet (saw) and love of following a guide. And it is sometimes stronger than the love of the children.

I didn't go into that discussion yet, but it is a real important discussion, that mureeds are giving their lives to the Shaykh, which is not their obligation to do. But children, if they give their life to their father that is their obligation. And in Shariah, if the father is rich, the children still must bring some contribution to father and mother. Shariah-wise they must give, they must show from what they earn, they are giving. They must give a gift to the father not necessarily money, but in some other way. Not to think everyone is slave to them. No, people are not slave but they are coming out of love to Shaykh.

Always shaykh give signs. I don't like them to cut and paste what they are saying and the signs from Shaykh to mureeds are stronger than signs from father to children. Sometimes the mureeds signs stronger than the signs to children. And the mureed give his love and his life and his wealth to Shaykh. They give to support the institution. If you love you show support. “Hubbun bi laa infaaq kidhbun wa nifaaq”. They play on the words, that means love without giving contribution is lies and hypocrisy. So it is not your obligation, if you go to sit with the Shaykh to give.

So anyone complains you are not giving, is making mistake. But you can have contribution and the Shaykh ask you. Sometimes people bring soap from their country as a gift to me. I take it and make them happy, although he has a room full of soap. But they are happy because the mureed show sign of love to the Shaykh. So that is what I want to say, that for the Prophet (saw), to recite certain darood (salawat) on the Prophet (saw), in 4-6 weeks you see the Prophet (saw). And we mentioned that before in series of Salawat on the Prophet (saw) in different ways by Awliyaullah.

And yesterday I received a call from someone, not a man but lady, and she said, I did what you asked, 1st week I didn’t see, 2nd week I didn’t see, 3rd week I didn’t see, 4th week I didn’t see, and 5th week I didn’t see the Prophet (saw), but I saw a very nice frame and like a pearl, glowing, and inside it written the name of Sayyidina Muhammad (saw) and I saw that calling on floor and I was upset, I put it on couch to hang it. And then I was wondering why it was down, I felt bad if I don’t carry and put it up.

So she said, when telling me this, that she didn't see the Prophet (saw). And I said, no , you saw one of the greatest signs from the Prophet (saw) as you will be someone who will raise the name of the Prophet (saw) when you grow up. And as Allah said to the Prophet (saw),

“wa rafa`na laka dhikrak”. You will be raising the Name of the Prophet (saw) high and raising his station to many many muslims. And you were not happy to see it down. So the Prophet (saw) happy with you that you took from Surat al-Sharh (Alam Nasrah) and raising the Name of the Prophet (saw) high.

So awliyaullah, they sometimes give signs and sometimes we don’t undertand. Today I want to speak about Nur al-Muhammadiyya. But this event in Indonesia came up. And before I say what happened in Indonesia, in 1975 after Grandshaykh Abdullah qs passed away by 2 years and not many people know about this. What we know from Mawlana Shaykh Nazim qs. Not that Yemeni who was sitting there yesterday sitting in London and saying I am with Shaykh 30 years. No, we are family and we know things about Mawlana Shaykh Nazim qs that others don’t know.

Now I will give that example and it came up because of what happened in the house in Indonesia. In 1975, 37 years ago, war in Lebanon broke out and my father's home was a big huge saray, a mansion. He bought it from the ex-Governor of Sultan Abdul Hameed who was governing Sham and Lebanon. The hallway, you know how wide? The hallway, is as big as, might be as big as the hall in the Hilton Hotel where we are speaking today. It is 10,000 square feet the hall and then count all the rooms around, at least 10 rooms and every room bigger than this house 2 times, and the house is 3 stories made from the old big stones.

It was between the fighters from Christian side and Palestinian side, not the Sunnis. They didn't involve in the war. It was in the middle. I don’t like to say these thing but the Palestinians fighting in Lebanon were the ones who fled Jordan during Black September and the army in Sham didn't let them come in. And so they live on what they can steal from people. Not all of them, but there are some of them like that. So this house was in between the fight. My father called the Christian side to take care of the house. And there is no problem between Christian and Muslim, they help each other.

He had called Palestinians to take care but they refused. And that time Grandshaykh Abdullah qs, we brought to Lebanon to do the operation. His eye completely closed. And I have the cataract still and I still have it. Dr. Tasneem is eye doctor and says that normally these dissolve, but it is still there. As Awliyaullah their bodies don’t disintegrate.
So I still have that. And after that came to Beirut to do hernia operation and after that his health began to deteriorate. And after that Mawlana Shaykh Nazim qs, came to visit Grandshaykh Abdullah qs in Beirut hospital and suddenly he had the same illness hernia. They had to operate on Mawlana Shaykh Nazim qs right away, my brother did it. And then they stayed in my room, which is huge, made of marble blocks. And Grandshaykh Abdullah qs and Mawlana Shaykh's bed facing each other and we don’t tell whole story. And Grandshaykh Abdullah qs stayed until Nisf Sha`ban and we too him back to Damascus. And then he put his will and he died 4th Ramadan.

And we don’t go into that will etc. But one thing he mentioned, I went into seclusion many times by order of the Prophet (saw) and put my son Shaykh Nazim in seclusion,  and I am making him my calipha. And that has to be by writing, not by video as video can be edited. So we have to go to traditions. We always say traditions but now they want to go to video. When King writes ijaaza, it is very nice writing and stamped. And you need to see this chain of Mashaykh, even we know today, but they have to write it and it is principal and obligation in tariqah, to do a written ijazah.

And Grandshaykh Abdullah Faiz ad-Daghestani qs wrote in his will I am appointing Shaykh Hisham and Shaykh Adnan, if Shaykh Nazim is not there they are to do the duties. And that is why Mawlana Shaykh says. Now there is campaign that Grandshaykh  Abdullah qs when he was appointed calipha, when he got will of Shaykh Sharafuddin qs he tore up the will. Still in Rashadiyya the village of Grand Grandshaykh Sharafuddin qs, and they followed diferent way. And in 1973, still they don’t know about this, the family of Mawlana as they were young call came to me. We had run away from war and stayed in Mawlana Shaykh's Nazim house and Shaykh Adnan in Shaykh Abdullah's house.

And we receive call that Palestinians had stole house and took everything from it Persian carpets, and everything. And they blew up house. So I want to go Hajja doesn’t want me to go, as there is shooting and bombs. I went and there is nothing left not even stairs. Three days they are throwing rockets on it and it is burning and burning. And the whole house had completely disappeared except  four columns holding up the room in which Mawlana Shaykh Nazim qs and Grandshaykh Abdullah qs had slept in it, and that was my room. And you see the fire has stopped just on the door where there is some burn marks. So I emptied that house from the window, as we could not go in through stairs.

Next time I will tell you about what Abu Ammar did with us and Abul-Hawl, that is where they put the stolen things and that is another story. I am not going into that now.

So I emptied the room. Awliyaullah no one can burn them. Allah doesn’t like anyone to burn someone. The Prophet (saw) prohibited that. Only ahl al-Ridda, when the Prophet (saw) left dunya the people who changed Abu Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (ra) declared war on them, if they dont come back. They came back and the leader cheated and went back another time and made fitna. Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (ra) ordered to catch him and they brought him. And Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (ra) ordered to burn him. It is the first burning. And Sayyidina 'Umar (ra) said, "Why", and Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (ra) said, "If I don’t crush that fitna, it will spread everywhere. So I take that responsibility eventhough forbidden." And he did that and that stopped the rebellion and it became calm.

So Awliyaullah earth cannot eat it, and even the artefacts of Awliyaullah they cannot be burned. As happened in my room and the whole of the house, and my brother's room all except my room as their presence is there. We have the pictures we will put them on internet.

And today in Indonesia, one of the mureeds house was burning huge house and two houses next to it. And that is sign to people of Indonesia. And we have millions of people in Indonesia and we have 92 centers in Indonesia. Allah wants to show the people of Indonesia you are right and to show the power of Awliyaullah. You cannot burn their names and you cannot burn their pictures, and you cannot burn them by claiming something that hurt them.

As they claimed the Yemeni in England to blow things out of proportion to show divisions. Allah made them to know that on that huge house all on floor. And what is left, you can see on internet. Nothing left, but the library where Grandshaykh Abdullah qs picture, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim qs picture and picture of Grandshaykh Sharafuddin qs, Sayyid Jamaluddin qs, Shaykh Abu Muhammad al-Madani qs. And all of these pictures the fire did not touch them, and only burned on edge. Any poison is like fire and they must know they cannot touch Awliyaullah. My signature there also. Alaa inna awliyaullahI laa khawfun `alayhim wa laa hum yahzanoon.

O Asim Yamani, we dont need your certificate. These pictures will show the Awliyaullah. In center in Michigan we burn the boxes and wood as many come from vegetables and they burn them and one time they had huge fire. And I said how are you going to burn this, it is going to be very big. And they said we got license and Hajjah was loooking after it cooled down and looking through ashes. And found picture of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim qs and it is not touched, everything is burned except that picture, it is in the white room where we sit. It is there burned on one side, but not the pictures.

It is flying. So awliyaullah laa khawfun `alayhim wa laa hum yahzanoon. Allah (swt) made us to go to that suhbat today, not to what we plan as what they plan is what is important. I hope those on internet can see these pictures as it is a big sign to know the importance of Awliyaullah in their life. And that taweez that has been written, bring it. That is written by Mawlana Shaykh Nazim 40 years ago. And zoom on it Ishaq.

That is Mawlana's handwriting 40 years ago, I thought between my papers in Lebanon but I found it in my papers in America. And that is protection from fire and for children who cry at night and for rizq. So we did in this frame in order people can have it and put it at the back of their door when they go out. Insha-Allah that protects the house and everything and the family from being in big disaster. He wrote it in 1969. Insha-Allah you can have that and if not, photocopy that. They put for animals and crops, safety from snakes. [Du`a]
